Black History Month Spirit Day

Black History Month Spirit Day on 2/28:
The PTA Cultural Awareness Committee is encouraging our school community to take part in a special spirit day on Tuesday, February 28th. On that day, everyone is invited to wear the colors symbolizing Black History.

Black: Represents the resilient people whose existence is honored and affirmed.
Red: Symbolizes the innocent Black lives that have been lost throughout history.
Yellow: Represents justice, optimism, and equality.
Green: Symbolizes the continent of Africa and its rich greenery and expensive natural resources.
